The work will be predominantly design (graphics manipulation, typography, page layout) and front-end web development. While projects may be discussed that involve JavaScript, AJAX, ASP, and more dynamic technologies, the majority of the coding tasks will be markup and styling.

Responsibilities

1. Work with the marketing team to build web pages.

2. Sketch and design layouts for content pages, landing pages, and product pages that is harmonious with the current website design (www.icc-usa.com).

3. Utilize graphics, images, and typography to enhance the web pages and give them a professional look.

4. Code the design concepts into HTML and CSS.

5. Improve the styling of existing pages on the site (some of them generated dynamically by our ecommerce software).

6. Work in strict compliance with web standards and SEO best-practices.

Requirements

1. Education: Coursework in web design.

2. Experience: 1-3 years of experience working in web design is preferred. Some samples of web design work are required.

3. Skills:

I need help from a WP Designer to clean up and integrate 2 WordPress 3.0 sales/squeeze pages. There are 2 pages total I need help with to finalize.
I’ll need help to change a template to customize sign up fields, integrate with opt-in email list form and general design clean up on squeeze page. I’ll also need help with sales page to integrate with my shopping cart plug in and credit card processor plus general design clean up. I figure this should take 4-5 hours for someone who knows what they are doing.
Right now, these designs are temporary, but will later need a custom redesign – I will be creating other WP based squeeze pages, sales pages, WP website redesign, logo design, and ad banner design in the coming months, so there will be ongoing projects for the successful designer.
This project – $500 for rapid completion – would like it to be completed this weekend. Will discuss future projects.
