Excel/Access/SQL data migration/visualization king or queen
at H10 Capital in Washington-Bellevue/Redmond
Heya there!
I have a 3-5 month contract position that might be interesting to someone. The pay is about $40/hr, and subsidized benefits are available.
You will be taking data that currently exists in Excel, which lives in Sharepoint, and migrate it to a SQL database. The database currently has an Access front-end.
Then, using SSIS and SSRS, you'll create ad-hoc and static reports (already spec'd out), do some basic analysis which should be visualized in a simple dashboard hosted on Sharepoint.
You'll also be responsible for creating some automation to help streamline the data migration process in the future.
This position could start as early as next week.
Here is the job description, in manager speak:
§ Migrate Excel based reports to a centralized and structured Reporting Repository (Access/SQL Server)
§ Consolidate over 400 reports into organized and parameter driven report models.
§ Streamline and automate report generation and request workflow.
§ Build ad-hoc reporting capabilities using web based reporting (SSRS).
