RockYou is actively looking for a Front-End Application Developer to
be based in our Redwood City, CA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop web applications and utilize web design skills for designing

usable interfaces for Facebook, Open Social and other social networking
platforms.
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to planning, researching,

developing logic, coding, testing and deploying Web projects with
minimal assistance. You are expected to be able to build a web
application from scratch as well as modify and build on existing code.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience building highly interactive, highly

    • trafficked, database-driven web applications.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts, PHP, HTML

JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, Sendmail, Sessions, and
Background Processes.
  • Knowledge of Web protocols and programming requirements.
  • Knowledge of UNIX operating system (primarily Linux) and Apache.
  • Understanding of mySQL database (developer fundamentals).
  • Good understanding of PERL and CGI protocols.
