VP Engineering Position - Senior Level Web Software Engineer

Seed-funded music professional networking website is seeking a senior-level web developer to join our 2-person development team. This engineer will fill a leadership role, sharing responsibility with pre-existing CTO. They will be integral in planning, developing, testing, and general oversight of major milestones. With our new Beta recently released, this hire will help our company scale, by moving forward with more advanced feature sets.  While our headquarters are in Cleveland OH, our development team works virtually; we require that you be located or spend significant time in the SF Bay Area, New York, or Cleveland to facilitate regular in-person meetings with our staff in those areas.

Basic Requirement

• 4+ years software development experience


• Has experience as a leader of an engineering team/managing software development processes


• Worked on a social networking or similar web 2.0 application


• Experience with automated software testing: Unit, Server, and Top Down levels


• Can stay motivated while working remotely
