JOB DESCRIPTION
The developer will design wireframe mock-up screens based on product requirements; incorporate usability best practices into wireframes and GUI screens. Lead rapid-turnaround GUI layout design review workshops with developers, system engineers, customer representatives, business analysts, marketing management, etc. Convert approved wireframes into functional CSS, HTML, and Java. Work closely with graphic designer to integrate graphic elements into CSS templates. Conduct peer reviews with senior manager and supervisor prior to meeting with customers, and make revisions to wireframes and templates as requested. Integrate CSS templates with middle-tier Java and Weblogic code. Must unit test code and verify that GUI meets product requirements. Unit testing must be followed with full integration testing, as well as fast-paced deployment Interoperability Testing (IOT) support and bug fixes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the rapid development of the GUI, from specification through design, coding, debugging, and deployment.
- Implement GUI wireframes to capture screen/design elements.
- Lead fast-paced GUI layout design review workshops with developers, customer representatives, business analysts, marketing management, etc.
- Convert approved wireframes into functional CSS, HTML, PHP, Javascript, Java Web pages.
- Integrate graphic elements into CSS templates.
- Conduct walkthrough and reviews with peers and supervisor.
- Make revisions to wireframes and templates as needed and requested.
- Ability to write middle-tier Java code a plus.
- Integrate CSS templates with middle-tier Java code.
- Ensure that every coding path is unit tested and nearly bug free.
- Verify that GUI meets intent of original wireframes.
- Participate in full integration testing.
- Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during deployment.
JOB EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
9+ years of web development experience using the following technologies:
- Java i18n
- J2EE Technologies including JSP/Servlets, EJB3, JMS, JSBC, JMX, JMS
- Web Services/SOA, XML, XSL, SOAP
- Experience architecting and developing web-based systems, data processing systems, and enterprise integration systems
- Experience using different development methodologies including SDLC, Scrum, and/or Agile, and test-driven development
- Experience using development tools such as JUnit/Cactus, Eclipse, WSAD, RAD6, CVS/Subversion/Clear Case
- Proven track record in developing high quality applications
- Ability to mentor other developers and provide technical direction on application architecture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with gathering and documenting technical requirements and specifications.
- Proven experience working in complex technology environments
Possesses wide base of experience in many disciplines of information technology including:

REQUIRED EDUCATION
