Job Description


Lead organization in defining product requirements, driving innovation and delivering new products to market. Responsible for defining product features, functions, flows and usability; scheduling all releases based on internal resource constraints, testing requirements, and business needs; and ensuring products are designed, developed and delivered in a manner sufficient to meet defined performance goals (member experience, cost, risk management and innovation).


Required Experience


Be a part of the strategic direction for the company, both present and in the future, overseeing:




- Product Requirements & Ownership (30%): Interact with internal stakeholders and external constituents to research, identify and develop product requirements, use cases and testing plans necessary to resolve defined market needs, as well as product performance goals around fraud detection/protection, security, cost, usability, competitive advantage, and member satisfaction. Act as Product Owner in all development processes to make critical decisions around feature/function trade-offs. Develop, prioritize and manage plans for new product releases to improve product performance over time.




- Manage Product Roadmap (10%): Manage the scheduling, testing and general release plans for all new products and communicate changes or updates to all stakeholders regularly.




- Performance Measurement & Attainment (30%): Measure impact of delivered features, functions and usability designs through various measurements and analysis, including satisfaction surveys, cancellation analysis, usability studies, identity theft/security protections, innovation artifacts (e.g. patents, awards, PR, etc) and member behavior analysis (including data from Member Services and online usage).




- Build, Buy & Partner Management (20%): Perform due diligence, research, and analysis around available capabilities and functionality in the market, and develop plans for optimally meeting product requirements. Develop and manage all product related partner and vendor relationships and contracts. Provide expert council and evaluation in all product M&A deals.




- Product SME (subject matter expert) (10%): Provide expert information and vision to various internal and external constituents (e.g. Sales, Partners, Analysts, Press, Trade-shows, etc) around product vision, value and functionality.
