Job Description

We are looking for experienced Engineers to develop the next generation of search relevancy technology at the heart of our multi-tenant cloud-scale search system.  Ideal candidates have proven ability to solve real-world search relevancy challenges in large-scale information retrieval systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement major pieces of our core search relevancy infrastructure, including, as need, entirely new systems
  

   

  
  


• Formulate, implement, and evaluate algorithms and sub-systems to support continuously improving search relevancy
  

   

  
  


• Work closely with quality engineering and product management to test and deploy relevancy enhancements
  

   

  
  


• Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation
  

   

  
  

Required Experience

• 5+ years experience building server-side  Java applications
  

   

  
  


• 3+ years development experience with search technologies
  

   

  
  


• Strong software engineering skills and computer science fundamentals
  

   

  
  


• Expertise in machine learning
  

   

  
  


• Development experience with SQL
  

   

  
  


• Ability to learn quickly and deliver high quality code in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  

   

  
  


• Excellent communication skills
  

   

  
  

Required Education

- BS/MS in Computer Science highly desirable
