Basic Requirements:

2-5+ years experience developing  Java, C++, Ruby, Force.com or Apex applications (Apex would be ideal).  Understanding Apex classes, Triggers, S-controls, managed packaging will put your job application on the top of the pile. ☺  If you don’t know Force.com, Visualforce, and Apex coding but are very smart, have loved coding since you were out of diapers, are a very quick learner and can “wow” us with your talent, please still apply.. you might get lucky!

Job Description:

• Requirements gathering, designing, coding, debugging, performance analysis, packaging and deployment of customer real-life business application on the Force.com platform, Salesforce.com’s enterprise cloud computing platform.   (Our products run the core business processes of companies from order entry through manufacturing to financial reporting.  Our products are the backbone to how companies produce and manage their product operations.) 


• Work directly with customers to define requirements


• Work with many departments including support, consulting, product management , and engineering


• Involves working as a member of a project team building new functionality and enhancing existing functionality.  Design and deploy high quality, scalable code often working directly with end user. 


• Some occasional offsite customer meetings or visits


• Design and develop integrations between our applications and other systems as may be required by customers


• Assist with training members of our development teams, sales, and customers


• Ensure that documentation of application code, as well as application use and flow, is accurate and well written.

Full Requirements:

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar technical degree or equivalent experience


• 2-5+ years experience in developing  Java, Ruby, C++, Force.com, Visualforce, and or Apex applications (Apex would be ideal).  Understanding of Apex classes, Triggers, S-controls, managed packaging


• Great interpersonal and English language skills to work with customers directly;  an A++ programmer without strong communication skills is not a good fit.


• Disciplined self-starter,  good at finding solutions to problems without explicit directions


• Able to be highly productive both working alone and in close collaboration within a team


• Ability to multi process and thrive in a fast-paced, customer driven,  sometimes unpredictable but always fun and energized environment


• Knowledgeable and passionate about exploring and experimenting with the latest application development technologies


• Must fully understand the process of developing customer facing applications including cloud based APIs and protocols


• Proficiency in object oriented programming


• Knowledge of Agile methodology is an advantage


• Requires ad-hoc flexibility in working hours in order to support and liaise with the Company’s customers and technology partners
