Data Engineer, Seattle

Position Summary

As a Data Engineer working on the analytics platform, they will be supporting and developing the analytic technologies that give our customers timely, flexible and structured data and analysis. They will be responsible for designing and implementing a platform  using in-house reporting solutions and third-party, modeling metadata, building reports and dashboards, and administering the platform software. A data engineer will interact with customers to build structured reporting solutions. Also, they will provide strategic and tactical support to the organization by analyzing and interpreting the data to provide creative solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering reporting solutions.

* Support end users on ad-hoc data requests and become a subject matter expert on functional side of the business

* Analyze data with standard statistical methods, interpreting the results, and providing written summary of data analyses

* Develop data solutions to help product and business teams to make data driven decisions

* Model data and metadata for ad-hoc and pre-built reporting as needed

* Administrate and develop ETL jobs based on the Informatica

* Work as an ETL Architect to support production data delivery needs

• Be fluent in at least one relevant programming language (languages we use, or are interested in, include Ruby, Python, Java, and R).

*Experience with “big data” platforms such as Hadoop would be a plus

*Bilingual (Korean) Big Plus
