Overview
We are an early stage social game startup committed to developing applications in health care seeking a Co-founder/Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Our goal is to create entertaining, challenging, and rewarding applications that encourage healthy lifestyles and make improving health a personal high priority that is super fun and highly social.
The ideal candidate should have hands on experience developing social applications for either the iPhone or Android. S/he should be energetic, creative, comfortable with ambiguity and risk taking, collaborative, and possess a good sense of humor.
We may not displace facebook or groupon, but we plan to be the first company reference when people talk about social apps and health.

Responsibilities
Mobile application development
Building and managing technical team
Ownership of all mobile technology including iPhone, iPad, and iOS
Work on iPhone and iPad features, which could include any number of cool things to do with location, social networks (for example, 3rd party networks like Twitter and Facebook), new web services (internal and external), incorporation of user-generated content, tying our client code to critical server-side functionality, and just about anything else you can think of to do with the rich iPhone SDK API.
Serve as key member of corporate leadership team
Experience
1+ years of iPhone, iOS, Objective C, and Cocoa development experience with at least 1 year of iPhone experience and at least 1 significant application in the Apple iPhone App Store – send links with your application.
1+ years Programming Experience
Extensive knowledge of iPhone SDK, XCode Cocoa, And Objective C-
Previous experience developing a fast and easy to use iPhone application that takes full advantage of the iPhone API
Experience with the iPhone location, video, camera, and push apis
Experience with iPhone MapKit/Core Location
Past experience with SMS and MMS
Worked on iPhone/iPad features, including, GPS, social networking, web services, user generated content, etc.
Technical expertise in Ajax, XML, Web 2.0 application frameworks, tools and technologies
Skills
iPhone App Development
Facebook Connect
Mobile Web App Development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, WebKit)
Game development experience a major plus
Integrating RESTful APIs and web services with applications
Passion for Web 2.0 and mobile applications
Active user and significant knowledge of social media sites including Twitter and Facebook
Education
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science
