We are a startup in stealth mode. Our founders are leaders from Fox Interactive, Scout.com, Zazzle.com, SecondSpace.com, and Microsoft. Our compensation package is highly competitive.
Key Requirements for System Administrator:
The person must be very detail oriented and a problem solver.
Must not get flustered in a stressful situation and can proceed methodically
2 Years of experience with AWS/EC2
Should be familiar with Linux and various tools used to deploy systems
Familiarity with the following will be a plus - Mono, Trac, Cruise Control, HAProxy, Solr, build, and deployment processes
Should be familiar with networking (e.g. modem install, routing, port forwarding, VPN setup) and Security (e.g. LDAP)
Should have experience managing a data center using tools like Nagios
Knowledge of SQL a plus
The person will be on call 24x7. The person should have experience using tools to minimise false alerts.

Local (Greater Seattle) candidates only
3-5 years of experience as System Admin.
4-year college degree is a big plus.
We cannot accommodate engineers, however brilliant, who are on H-1B visa.
