Key Responsibilities:

. Develop custom web applications in PHP and MYSQL as part of a cohesive project team.

. Collaborate with project manager to write and review functional specifications.

. Apply systems analysis skills to understand and define technical requirements/specs.

. Manage your time and your tasks to meet deadlines and budgets.

Essential Skills/Attributes:

. 3+ years of experience programming web applications in PHP.

. 3+ years of experience working with MySQL at an above-average capacity.

. Knowledge of object oriented programming and/or design patterns.

. Strong web development skills and demonstrated proficiency with CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and HTML technologies.

. Experience developing in a team environment.

. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Bonus Qualifications:

. Aptitude for C code (basic, basic C).

. Previous experience with Linux terminal, including SSH, SVN, MySQL.

. Knowledge about optimization for MySQL and/or website load times.
