TisBest (winner of Seattle 2.0 best startup award, and #1 ranked charity gift card provider) seeks a motivated, flexible and enthusiastic .Net web developer.   You will build and maintain www.TisBest.org and related websites that engage donors and improve administration for nonprofits.  Be ready to roll up your sleeves, and contribute to development, design and user experience for this concept that makes charitable giving a great gift.  We are a team of smart people working to maintain our position as the #1 charity gift card and improve our concept to continue raising millions for our supported charities.  

 
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain web site UI and architecture.

• Participate in product and architecture design, direct infrastructure and toolset creation.
• Participate in systems building and test framework.
• Design and expand user experience, reporting and more!

Skills:
• Strong web development background

• Ability to work independently and with a team

• 3+ years experience in working with .NET web-based technologies

• Experience with rapid, iterative development

• Demonstrable experience with Visual Studio 2008, IIS, Asp.Net, C#, VB.Net, Microsoft Enterprise Library 4.0, JavaScript and CSS management

• Demonstrable experience with SQL Server 2005, including basic admin and object creation

• Subversion (source control) 1.6


Minimum Education/Training Required:

• Significant experience developing websites. A CS degree is not as important as career experience developing, delivering and demonstrating great software.

This position is a long-term contract position to 40+ hours per week.   Remote work can be accommodated, but you must be available in the Seattle region to meet with us initially and for meetings once or twice a month.  Compensation is market rate.
