Skills:

·        Strong Front End Design Skills

·        Strong HTML and CSS skills

·        Strong Grasp of User Experience and Interaction Design Principles

·        Javascript, Embedded Ruby, and experience working in distributed development team preferred

·        Familiarity with XMPP is a Plus!!

Compensation: >Negotiable. Likely beginning with a $2K to $3K contract and as the arrangement works out transitioning into an equity relationship, typical of funded startups.

Role Requirements: Able to commit 20 hours per week (official start date: January [negotiable] concluding in March/April), working directly with our engineering team as a freelance professional, with a mutual interest to develop into a permanent role as a part of a funded startup team. Participating in team meetings and self reporting status and blocking issues.

Work Environment: As a startup we do a lot of coffee shop collaboration, in Seattle/Capitol Hill as well as Bellevue/Redmond, as well as online collaboration (for team members in other geographic regions). We work best with team members who are very self directed and capable of producing results independently, and via electronic communication.
