We are an enthusiastic group of entrepreneurs focusing on building a fantastic suite of digital media sites, so there’s tons of opportunity here to own the design process from concept to completion while keeping an eye on new developments.

You Have:

• A true passion for design, typography and interactive experiences

• A strong ability to think conceptually
• Experience in print design, digital media design, presentation layer design, graphic design, mobile design and experience design

Your Role:

This position will allow you to work collaboratively with the entire creative & technology team in taking interactive & digital media projects through the design process. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of products while maintaining the freedom to define your own vision. Steps in the process include:

• Brainstorming creative concepts with the creative team
• Conceiving and defending innovative design solutions
• Developing design specs, wireframes, interfaces, interactions and print templates for production
• Working with the development team on the execution of your designs
• Wordpress & Movable Type design
• Web & desktop application design
• iPhone & mobile design
• Digital magazine design
• Well, All Things Design

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years interactive experience (software UX, online applications, web design…)
• 5-7 Years design experience (print, web, advertising, product…)
• Excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Adobe Flash Platform and/or Microsoft Silverlight experience
• A portfolio of current / recent work examples
• A masterful understanding of user experience and site architecture
