Tippr.com is a fast growing venture funded internet company that provides technology that helps local merchants acquire new customers. We are looking for a talented and self-motivated UI/UX Designer to join our fast pace environment. This is a full-time position at either our Seattle or Austin office.

Responsibilities:

* Identify and determine solutions for web and mobile UI/UX design problems

• Collaborate with other designers, engineers, and product managers to refine concepts
  
• Create sketches, wireframes, and mockups based on specifications and product requirements
  
• Work with our white-label publisher customers to ensure designs conform to customer’s branding guidelines and standards
  
• Present design concepts and solutions to team members
  

• Build prototypes and templates with HTML/CSS

Required qualifications:

* Killer Portfolio (We will only consider candidates with an online portfolio)

• Exceptional understanding of fundamental visual design and UX principles
  
• Outstanding communication skills and an ability to explain your design decisions
  
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and web standards
  
• 3+ years experience in a related field
  

• Bachelors degree in design-related discipline




* Bonus points for past startup experience and/or if you have your own personal web/mobile projects.


• Extra bonus points for coding skills, especially with jQuery and Python/Django.
