I had the opportunity to meet with Jeremy Jaech of Trumba.com yesterday. We spoke about the change in focus for the company away from a consumer play to providing services to the enterprise market. Mr. Jaech shared how that can impact a company from; marketing, sales, technology / services, to management.

The shift in focus came about for a few reasons; changes within the marketplace, marketing issues, successes with the enterprise customers. The hardest issues now facing entrepreneurs is not necessarily the difficulty in coding, it is simply being heard above the noise once the service / site is launched.

Trumba.com had success in selling to enterprise customers and decided to revamp their offering to provide a more comprehensive solution for enterprise customers. It is this type of flexibility in identifying issues facing a business and reconfiguring the service to take advantage of opportunities as they present themselves.
