How The Event Turned Out

iCal Import
Start:
January 1, 1970 12:00 am

I couldn’t have wished for more. We had a great turnout and had such a good time that we even forgot to take pictures (seriously). We had exactly the kind of vibe that makes for a fun event. People were engaged with one another with quite a few different conversations going on; entrepreneurship, politics, art, local issues, geographic comparisons, pretty much everything.

The entrepreneurial spirit always amazes me. I get excited hearing about people’s ideas, objectives and plans. Especially when they are great ideas, and Vancouver is definitely full of interesting people with exciting ideas. I met James Sherrett of iWorkIndustries who is helping to coordinate Bar Camp Vancouver. I wish I could make it, but unfortunately I have to head back down to Seattle tomorrow. If you are in Vancouver or the surrounding areas, then I definitely encourage you to take a look.

Importantly, I want to also thanks Jason and Rob of JayandSilentRob.com for their help in setting up the event. Without them we wouldn’t have had the location or the great turnout. They write a great blog, you should definitely check it out. Thanks again guys!

Our next event is in Seattle on Tuesday the 29th. More info can be found at http://www.npost.com/events.html.
